IS CHLORINE IN TAP WATER DANGEROUS? HOW CAN I REMOVE IT?

You may be scared when you hear chlorine, don't worry, we'll tell you what it's for and how to eliminate it.

Tap water has chlorine, yes, but not as much as pool water.
Chlorine is a disinfectant that, in very low doses, is not harmful to the human body.

The water that comes out of your tap is the water from the supply and has passed many health controls at the water treatment plant.
In the disinfection process, essential to ensure the non-contamination of the water, the water is disinfected by adding sufficient and necessary chlorine for disinfection and human consumption.
To conserve supply water, it is also usually stored in contact with chlorine to make drinking water safer.

Does that mean tap water is bad? NO.

As we have already said, the doses of chlorine that are applied to tap water are harmless to us, they only ensure that the water is not infected by pathogens.

The only problem with chlorine in tap water is that it can make the water taste bad. But I wish all problems had such an easy solution!

To neutralize the taste of chlorine that the water may have, you can use a quality faucet filter, such as the Waly OX-2 Glossy stainless steel filter to remove chlorine, limescale, microplastics and other impurities from the water. Unlike other similar filters, it is made of stainless steel and contains no plastic.
