Zarautz (Basque Country)

Zarautz Beach, a town in Guipúzcoa, is located between two cliffs and is the longest beach on the Basque coast, they call it “The queen of beaches”.
It is a good beach for surfing because it does not have many currents and the waves are good and quite regular regardless of the Cantabrian tide.
It is a good beach for beginners but also for advanced levels.

The best time to go surfing is late summer and early fall.


El Palmar (Andalusia)

This area of ​​Andalusia is one of the best known in Spain for surfing, the Palmar beach is more than 4 km long. The closest town is Vejer de la Frontera. The best time to go if you are a beginner or initiated is in summer. Expert surfers usually go from October to April, when the waves reach two meters in height. Pantín or O Rodo beach (Galicia)

The beach of the crazy (Cantabria)

This beach, located in Suances, was declared a European Natural Surf Reserve in 2012 due to the quality of its waves.
Keep in mind that the beach is divided into 3 different areas for surfing. On the right hand side of the beach there is “el orchard” with fairly flat right-hand waves. In the center of the beach there are waves that go indistinctly to both sides. In the left area is "el sopico" with left-hand tube-shaped waves.


Salinas Beach (Asturias)

This Asturian beach is one of the most famous in the principality. It measures more than 2.5 km and has a large promenade. Its waves are fast and powerful, they can travel 60 meters and be more than 2.5 meters high. Throughout the summer, some surfing festivals are held, such as the “Salinas Longboard Festival”.
