HOW TO MAKE FLAVORED WATER


Water is the essential drink and the basis of everything we drink, it is hydrating and good at any time of the year, but there are times when we feel like a drink with more flavor.

Getting used to drinking soft drinks or sugary drinks on a daily basis is not the best option for our health, but there are alternatives that are.

Flavored water is a natural, healthy, tasty and very refreshing alternative to normal water, and can be drunk throughout the day without any problem.

The steps are very simple:

  1. Cut the fruit that you like the most into cubes or slices. You can also mix different fruits. The amount will depend on whether you want a lighter or more intense scent.

  2. Fill your Waly & Cool bottle. It's great for making flavored water, as it has a filter in the head that doesn't let large solids through. You will be able to serve yourself the water without having to filter the entire content in another container.

  3. Put the fruit inside the water bottle with the water. You can add spices or aromatic plants such as mint, rosemary, cinnamon, cloves or cardamom. You can also add sugar, honey or a splash of lemon juice.

  4. Let infuse for 6 hours in the fridge.

  5. Let's drink!


Our favorite combinations:

  • Mint and strawberries: This is a balanced and fresh combination for the summer. Sweet touch but acid and refreshing at the same time.

    Our tip: A splash of lemon juice.

 

  • Pineapple and coconut: Fancy a piña colada but it's not time for a cocktail yet? Make a flavored water with pineapple and coconut to get the flavor of the piña colada.

    Our advice: add two tablespoons of brown sugar or agave syrup and mix well.

 

  • Green apple, melon and cucumber: If you want very cool water, with a sweet touch and an acid touch, this is the best combination.

    Our advice: Add some fresh basil leaves.

 

  • Orange, lime and lemon: Do you like citrus? With a few slices you will have the aromatic touch you are looking for!

    Our advice: Add a little fresh rosemary and a tablespoon of honey!

 

  • Peach, apricot and mango. Do you like sweet? Try this combination.

    Our advice: add a touch of cinnamon and cloves!


In order not to throw away the fruit once used, you can crush it and make a juice or freeze it and prepare a smoothie for a snack.
